Food and Diet Vocabulary
以下是準備好IELTS必備的重要字彙，IELTS各部份考試常提及環境主題，具備與此主題相關的知識十分重要。

� Protein (noun) 蛋白質 (名詞)：
Fish, eggs and meat are all major sources of protein.
魚類,雞蛋和肉類都是重要的蛋白質來源。

� Vitamin (noun) 維他命 (名詞)：
As she was not getting enough daily vitamins in her diet, she decided to take vitamin supplements.
因她的飲食無法攝取足夠的維他命，所以決定吃維他命補充的營養品。

� Fast Food (noun) 速食 (名詞)：
Fast food restaurants such as MacDonald’s and KFC are becoming increasingly popular.

� Free-range (adj.) 放牧(飼養)的 (形容詞)：
Research shows that free-range chickens contain significantly less fat than those who are not free-range.

� Organic (adj.) 有機的 (形容詞)：
Organic fruits and vegetables may be more expensive than non-organic ones, but many people say they taste better.

� Food Poisoning (noun) 食物中毒 (名詞)：

She suffered from Anorexia due to severe depression. No wonder she was so thin and looked wan and fragile.

� Bulimic (adj.) 暴食的 (形容詞)：
He was concerned about his weight but as he kept on over-eating he eventually became bulimic.

� Malnutrition (noun.) 營養不良 (名詞)：
The report showed deaths due to malnutrition accounted for 58% of the total mortality rate in 2006.

� Dehydration (noun) 脫水 (名詞)：
You should drink lots of water when it is extremely hot or you may suffer from dehydration.
